H (37): Renato Simonini (wavy light brown hair, green eyes) - world-famous actor
W (38): Nathalie [Guillot] Simonini (straight dark brown hair, blue-grey eyes) - oil and gas engineer
Renato and Nathalie met by chance many several years ago at an airport and it was attraction at first sight. They eventually got married and are currently living in Singapore due to Nathalie's work, with frequent travel to Malaysia and neighbouring nations.
Y1: Renato was offered a protagonist role in a long-lived and much loved British TV series. Nathalie gets a transfer to the London branch of the company she works for and the pair move to the British capital.
Y2: The pair welcome a baby boy. Little Henry Albert is born with straight light brown hair and blue eyes, but they may grow darker as he ages.
Y3: During a holiday in Africa, the Simoninis all end up ill with malaria after mosquitos feasted on them. It turns out they did not apply bug spray as often as recommended. Renato and Nathalie recover after about ten days, but little Henry is sick for almost a month before eventually making a full recovery.
Y4: After feeling poorly for the best part of a year, Nathalie is finally diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She has a nagging suspicion that the disease's onset may have been caused by her earlier bout with malaria, but for the time being she is focussing on finding the right medication and following the doctor's advice.
Y5: Despite her condition, Nathalie has been putting such good work at her job that she got a promotion! She is now head of operations for the North Sea, and with her new title came a hefty bonus. She and Renato decide to buy a cosy cottage retreat in Cambridgeshire, and Henry enjoys having a nice garden to play in.
Y6: The Simoninis add to the family by getting a pet albino rat and name it Gennaro.
Y7: Courtesy of the studio Renato is working for, the whole family enjoys an all expenses paid trip to Patagonia and have a grand time there.
Y8: Henry gets sick with a pretty bad lung infection. At some point it requires hospitalisation, but he makes it through. Unfortunately, Henry now has chronic asthma and shortness of breath.
Y9: After years of struggling with infertility, Nathalie and Renato decide to adopt an infant. Baby Morgan Cecilia is 7 months old, has curly red hair and hazel eyes.
Y10: Gennaro passed away after a long rat life, and the Simoninis decide their family isn't complete without a pet. This time they adopt a dog from the local RSPCA. Serafina aka Fina is an energetic mutt and learns her new name very quickly.
Y11: Nathalie's job has the family relocating to Amsterdam.
Y12: The Simoninis decide to add to their family once more by adopting a child. Although it was not in their original plans, Renato and Nathalie are asked if they could welcome triplets into their family - and since they have the resources it takes, they gratefully accept. The triplets, like Nathalie, are originally from Belgium. Saskia Andromeda, Arthur Filippo and Emma Danaë join the family, which at last is complete. Saskia, Arthur and Emma all have straight blonde hair and blue eyes, though the girls looks identical.
