Re: Congrats!
in reply to a message by Queen Reine
It's been one month since we took Stefan and Lucian in. They've adapted well to having two more brothers, Will and Robbie. Lately we've been calling them by the nicknames Stevie and Luke because Stefan wanted to know why Will and Robbie had nicknames and they didn't.
We've been teaching Stevie more and more English and he's now able to speak in full sentences. We've been discussing sending him to preschool, but we're not sure if he's ready. Stevie has broadened the imaginations of Will and Robbie too. Most of the time the boys will be outside playing pirates, knights, or Olympics. Stevie has been a positive addition to our family. He is well-behaved and is a positive influence on Will and Robbie.
Luke is also doing well. He knows how to walk and enjoys joining Will, Robbie, and Stevie when they play. The other boys gladly welcome him. Luke is also learning a few more words. He's established me as 'Mama' and Cedric as 'Dada'. He even knows how to say 'Will', 'Robbie', 'Stevie', and his own name 'Luke.
Will and Robbie easily adjusted to Stevie and Luke. Will enjoys being the role model for Stevie, Robbie, and Luke. Robbie enjoys having two older brothers to look after him and being a role model for Luke. Will and Robbie love playing with the boys and we hope they will stay as close as they are now.
We were glad we could bring Stevie and Luke into our family. We know they love being with us as much as we love being with them. Cedric and I are glad to have them in their house and are even thinking about adopting a girl sometime in the future. We're glad we could give such brilliant, and pleasant children a place they can call home.
Thanks for the experience, Cedric, Marie, Will, Stevie, Robbie & Luke
