After having Penny and Brad, Olivia had to make one of the hardest decisions in her life. The hours she and Elliot worked, coupled with the fact that they now had nine children living in their home, did not add up. Their hours were unreliable and it amazed her that somehow they had managed up until now. Thus, Olivia decided to leave the police department, just for a while, and got a job at a counseling center for abuse victims. There, her hours would be far more stable and she could still help people.
