DD: Augusta Daisy "Aggie"
DD/DD: Amaryllis Caroline "Lily" / Wilhelmina Josephine "Billie"
Leah and Jon had a hard time naming their fifth child. They had a lot of ideas, but none of them seemed right. Finally Jon suggested that they just name her after the month of her birth (August). It started out as a joke, but the name Augusta quickly grew on them. They didn't come up with the middle name until after Aggie was born and Leah's sister brought her a big bouquet of daisies.
When they found out they were having twins again, they were a little nervous but very excited. They figured this time they were sure to get another boy. They immediately started thinking about boys' names, and Jon revealed that he'd always wanted to have a son called Billy. By the time they realized they were having two girls, they were so attached to the nickname Billy that they decided to use it anyway, though they decided to go for a more feminine spelling. Leah wanted to call the other twin Lily to go with Augusta Daisy, but Lily seemed too plain next to the elaborate Wilhelmina. Finally they settled on a more unusual floral name, Amaryllis, but kept Lily as a nickname.
