Luna and Sam met in college during their sophmore year. They started dating and quickly fell in love, so that after a little over a year of dating Sam proposed. The two married once they graduated. Luna is now working as a graphic designer while Sam works as a financial manager. The two were thrilled when they found out they were going to have a baby, and as soon as they discovered it was a boy they decided to name him after their favorite authors. Both enjoy Dashiell Hammett, and Luna, a bit of a poetry buff, loves Sir Philip Sidney sonnets. They quickly began calling him Dash; he has Luna's green eyes and Sam's auburn hair. He is the first grandchild in Luna's family, and they are all quite excited. Sam's older sister Jamie had a daughter a few months before Luna gave birth, whom she named Edith Maeve. Edie and Dash have many playdates together.
