Eclipse met December under horrible circumstances for both of them. Eclipse's older--and only--sister had just died leaving her and her mother alone in the old empty house. They met at the funeral. December had just graduated from college and was a year older than Eclipse. He was one of her sister's best friends, and through the tragedy brought them together. Two years later, the two married and took a long luxurious honey moon in Hawaii which they were able to afford because December was a doctor. Since Eclipse wanted to travel and they were both young, the couple decided to travel the world for a few years before having children.
