Me (Penny) and Eli got married when I was 18 and he was 20. I was just starting university and he was in his 4th year (he was ahead). We live in Victoria, Canada.
Year 1: Moving to bigger house [Moving]
Even though we were in university, we had enough to buy a house in Victoria. It has four bedrooms and 2 baths. We are planning on having kids anytime now so we figured to plan ahead.
Year 2: Premature Baby (BQ-4) [Child]
I am 19 when I learn I'm pregnant! Most of the pregnancy went well until I went into premature labor at eight months. The baby, a little girl was born a month early. We named her Charlotte Ruby Miller, born on July 2nd. She was tiny but strong and kept in the ICU for a few days. Charlotte had no health problems so we got to take her home after a week in the hospital. That gave our family and friends enough time to throw a welcome home party for us and Charlotte. Little Charlotte has curly red (or auburn) hair and blue eyes.
Year 3: United Kingdom [Travel]
After Charlotte's first birthday, we went on a two week trip to Scotland and England to visit some family. We had a lot of fun and Charlotte enjoyed herself too. We went on the London Eye, I was slightly nervous but Eli and Charlotte loved seeing London from up high. We also went to Oxford, Edinburgh (the castle was awesome!) and Glasgow.
Year 4: Niamh Taylor (DF-8) [Child]
A year after our trip to the UK, I find out we were expecting another child! After nine months (we wanted the sex to be a surprise) I gave birth to our second child, another daughter! Niamh Taylor Miller was born on May 16th. Charlotte loves having a sister (what she wanted the baby to be) and gives her endless amounts of kisses. Niamh has curly brown hair and bright blue eyes. At the hospital on discharge day, they gave us a baby girl. We almost left until Eli noticed when the baby opened her eyes she had brown eyes, we had the wrong baby! Another young woman almost took our little Niamh home with her too! The mix-up was resolved after a few hours and the hospital apologized for the mistake, as there were many babies born around that time.
Year 4: Business Trip [Job]
Eli stayed home with the girls while I went on a business trip to Edmonton for a medical conference. It was a great week but I missed my girls and husband the whole time so I was happy to go home. Next time I would consider bringing them with me.
Year 5: Baby.....x3 [Child-Multiples]
Charlotte is now four and Niamh two, so we decided to try for a boy. At the 14 week ultrasound, we got the news we were expecting triplets and I'm only 23! I went into labor at 36 weeks and had two boys and one girl by c-section on July 7th; Nathaniel Jasper, Benjamin Gordon and Elizabeth Paige Miller. Nathan has straight brown hair and blue eyes, Ben has straight brown hair and gray eyes, and Ellie has wavy blond hair and blue eyes.
Year 6: Summer Pet [Pet]
Charlotte just finished kindergarten (shes a year early) and the teacher decided to let her keep the class rabbit for summer! The rabbit's name is Bonny and the kids love her so much! At the end of the summer, we were sad to give Bonny back but we considered getting one ourselves when the kids were older.
Year 7: Juliet (BX-1) [Child]
At the age of 25, I'm expecting our sixth (hopefully no multiples) child. Eli was away on a trip when I went into labor two weeks early! I dropped off the kids to Eli's sister Marie and my friend took me to the hospital. Alexandra (my friend) was there instead of Eli for the birth of our fourth daughter on the night of January 30th. Eli got the message and hopped on a plane, but missed the birth by four hours. He met the baby when he got in and we decided on the name Juliet Alexandra Miller. Juliet has straight blond hair and blue eyes.
Year 8: Strike [Job]
Eli's workplace has recently gone on strike! He is not being paid much but spends time at home with the kids. It will be two months before the matter is resolved.
Year 9: Boss Over for Dinner [Job]
We invited Eli's boss Damien Samson for dinner one night. We let the children stay overnight at Eli's sisters and Alex's house. We talked about our families and work and the recent strike. Overall, the dinner went well and Damien told us Eli would be getting a promotion to head physicist soon!
Year 10: New Dog [Pet]
Charlotte and Niamh found a stray cat one day with no coller so we adopted her. The older girls decided to name her Calli. She is an orange-brown long haired cat and totally healthy and young. The kids love having a pet now.
Year 11: Another Son (VU-6) [Child]
We found out we were having another child! But the birth was the most interesting. We were out on a hike in a nearby forest on July 15th with Charlotte and Niamh (the younger ones were at Marie's) two weeks before my due date. I unexpectedly went into labor, but it progressed so quickly we couldn't get to the hospital in time. I gave birth to a baby boy within an hour after my water broke and we went to the hospital. Pace Yuri Miller was healthy and he has straight brown hair and blue eyes.
Year 12: Calli has Babies [Pet]
We recently found out Calli the cat was pregnant! We decided to give the kittens up for adoption. Calli had a litter of eight kittens; Abby, Bo, Carey, Dani, Ecko, Finn, Ginger and Heike. In the end, all but Dani were adopted so we kept her.
Year 13: Disneyland [Trip]
We took Charlotte (12), Niamh (10), Nathan, Ben and Ellie (8), Juliet (6) and Pace (2) on a trip to Disneyland in California! They were ecstatic when we got there and a limo took us to our grand hotel in Disneyland. We spent a long and happy 10 days there and the kids enjoyed it a lot.
Year 14: Another Baby?! (ME-5) [Child]
I was going to donate some blood at the hospital until they said no and gave me some shocking news, I was pregnant again! Nine months and a short labor later, I gave birth to a son named Daniel John-James Miller on September 5th. Daniel has straight brown hair and brown eyes. His seven older siblings help take care of him.
Year 15: Lastly, Twins (GA, JA-5) [Child-Multiples]
We thought we were done having kids until we found out once again I was pregnant.....with twins! Both of our parents wanted to be there for the birth but we gave them a firm no. Miles Efren and Claire Ilana Miller were born on June 6th. Miles has straight black hair and brown eyes, Claire has wavy blond hair and blue eyes, they are completely opposite! All the older siblings welcomed them warmly.
After 15 years, we had 10 kids! Eventually we moved to a gigantic 10 bedroom 4 bathroom custom house to fit our big family.
