I think you got lost- The third (one of the twins) is 18. The fourth is 17...

So is the "third child" both the twins?

No- the first child is the first born
the second is twin # 1
the third is twin #2

So for you

Alanna is #1
Raphael is #2
Victoria is #3
Ellie is # 4

etc
