Queen Cordelia and King Valentine have their last children. Twins Estella and Gratian births are celebrated. Estella has black straight hair and deep blue eyes. Gratian has slightly wavy very sandy blond hair and grey blue eyes.
During a fencing contest Raphael wins 1st place. Before this year the best he placed was 3rd. As a special treat the judges proclaim that forever more Raphael is to be known as the Gallant Sword of Roseholm. Raphael finally receives his title and with it he is no longer considered a child he is now considered a full grown man.
A few months after Estella and Gratian are born Prince Raphael and Princess Lucretia “Lucy” have their wedding. Lucy looks very beautiful in her white wedding gown and long lace veil. Raphael is wearing a gold and white fabric coat with rubies and sapphires sown in. Raphael looks very good with the red, gold, blue and white against his wavy black hair and sapphire blue eyes. Raphael feels that it is slightly strange to kiss Lucy for the first time in front of so many people but he knows that it is expected of him. So he does the best to kiss her politely and without seeming too nervous. The wedding goes extremely well. Valentine’s father, past King Gerardo and his mother past Queen Arianne are both getting very old and are very happy to see their oldest grand-son married. They hope to be around to see a new heir but they might not make it.
Claudius and Victoria are almost old enough to be married. They are 14 and usually the youngest people get married at in this kingdom is the age of 15. Victoria is very regal and is set on becoming a Queen because she feels that as a Queen she will be able to do so much more for people. Claudius has a mane of blond curly ringlets and peridot eyes. He is always courting another young lady before long. This month it was the Lady Ophelia from the city of Gossamer. Claudius in the end wishes for love or at least someone he enjoys spending time with and an arrangement that might be good for the kingdom.
Justine is now a lady herself. With her fiery hair and crystal blue eyes many young men have been trying to court her. These days she wears her tresses up in fancy hair-dos similar to her mother. She loves the attention but pretends to be shy and coy with the young men. Many have named her the fairest lady in the kingdom, though others give the regal Victoria that title. Justine loves to dress up but she is also not afraid to get her hands dirty. She finds conversation an art that she excels at. She is also an amazing singer. Her favorite instrument is the rote / crowde but she also enjoys the harp, handbells and flute.
Hector is looking a lot like his father with deep green eyes and black hair, except that his black hair instead of being ringlets is very straight. He is the only son growing his hair long. He wears it in a ponytail that goes down about two inches past his shoulders. Hector informs his father that he wishes to become a knight for their Kingdom. King Valentine explains all the difficulty and discipline he will need if he chooses this path. His father tells him to wait the two or three more years until he’s old enough, and if he still wants to be a knight at that time then he can. Hector knows that he wants to but tells his father that he will think about it longer.
Diamanta's hair has become less dark, rather than being black now it is in-between being very dark brown and black. She has that color of black hair that is a warm color rather than a cold color. Her brothers and sister all have cold blue black hair. Diamanta likes to be called Dia but Hector calls her Manny in a teasing and loving way. Diamanta pretends to not like it but they both know that she does. The two are very close even if they don’t share the same interests. Dia loves reading and math which she can do but her skills are basic. She likes to join Hector in his classes even though she really isn’t suppose to have private tutors until she is six. Dia has so far been the most serious of Cordelia and Valentine’s children at the age of four.
