Oliver and Kody have been been married for a year now. Everything's been going as smooth as can be. Kody still thinks Oliver thought that Addison Hills would be the cure to the five children Kody had wanted to have. As a result, they haven't been nearly as close, and both suffer greatly from the lack of contact with their spouse. In an attempt to try and smooth things over between himself and the love of his life, Oliver, one day when Kody had work, brought home a kitten. When he was in the pet store, he was looking specifically for a cat, though this particular one caught his eye. It was exactly like a cat that Kody had growing up, Tiger, whom she loved and was absolutely heartbroken when he died. The cat, whom he figured Kody should nae since he wasn't too fond of cats, was very shy, and hid back in the corner in the living room. When Kody came home that night, Oliver had ordered Chinese food which was waiting on the candlelite table, set for two. Sitting on her chair was the kitten. It was a bittersweet moment. All the hurt she had been keeping inside bubbled to the surface and she cried like she couldn't when she was laying in bed next to Oliver. The kitten, curious of this new arrival who didn't scare him, hopped down from the chair and over to Kody, who picked him up and cuddled with him, while Oliver engulfed her in a hug. Nothing was discussed that night but one thing: "His name is Brody."
