Miklos Nandor and Roman Sebestyen are brothers from Hungary. Miklos is seven and enjoys anything that can be done outdoors and loves to stay very active. His favorite thing to do is swim. He is very outgoing and amicable. Roman is 14 and Miklos' older brother. He is very protective of Miklos and sees it as his responsiblilty to make sure his brother is safe. Roman likes to be outdoors as well, but prefers to occupy himself with things such as logic puzzles and reading. He speaks a fair amount of English as well.

Mai-Linh Lawan is an eleven year old girl from Vietnam. She was born to a Vietnamese mother and a Thai father who already had more children than they could provide for. Mai-Linh likes to dance, draw, and write. Education is very important to her so she maintains excellent grades. She aspires to be a novelist someday.
