Pascal are siblings from Germany.
Alina and
Katrin are 13-year-old twins,
Benjamin is 11, and
Pascal is 10. Their parents recently moved to Florida from Munich, bringing the children with them. One of
Katrin's teachers noticed that the girl was abused and called CPS. The parents gave up their parental rights with no fight, and the children have been in foster care for five months.
Alina has short, wavy light brown hair and brown eyes. She is in 8th grade in school, but needs help with her schoolwork, especially in ESL and math. She is a very bubbly girl and makes friends easily.
Alina enjoys playing soccer, singing, and listening to music.
Katrin is a shy girl who has trouble making friends and usually sticks by her sister's side. She is also in 8th grade, and makes average grades. Her teachers say she is a good student, but avoids answering questions in class and speaking up for herself.
Katrin enjoys writing, photography, and knitting.
Benjamin has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
He's in sixth grade in school and struggles with his schoolwork, especially because he knows so little English.
He plays basketball with the other boys on the playground, but has trouble communicating with them.
Pascal has wavy light brown hair and hazel eyes.
He's in fourth grade and is only beginning to learn English.
He enjoys running, rollerskating, and karate.
