Ethnical Background: Both Lindsay and Ellie's biological families come from Scotland. Lindsay's extended family is pretty much all in the United Kingdom, with most being from Scotland, obviously. Ellie, however,and her younger twin brothers Adam and Ryan, were adopted at ages 6 and 2 by a family in Boston, Massachusetts. Her extended adoptive family includes a mix of backgrounds, including Scottish, French, German, English, Welsh, Irish, and Greek.
Lindsay's parents: Calum Alasdair Taranis and Maighread Isla Seonag "Maisie" Graham
Ellie's adoptive parents: Chief James Thomas Matthew Blackwood "Jamie" and Dr. Genevieve Brigitte Sophie St. Martin-Blackwood (Ellie has also a total of 11 other siblings, including her two biological brothers. And a majority of them have families too. So I'm not going to list them all, because it would be too long.)

How your couples meet?
Lindsay and Ellie met when he was 23 and she was 18. Ellie had just come to attend college in Edinburgh. She was out with some new friends in the city one night, and she met Lindsay. They talked for most of the night, and arranged to meet the next evening. On that night, Linsday, an artist, surprised Ellie with a quick sketch of her. After that, the two continued to see each other almost every night, eventually slipping into dating exclusively.
How did your families react at your decision to get married?
Both families were extremely happy. Calum and Maisie Graham were pleased that their son had met a nice young girl who was intelligent and came from a great family. It turned out that they actually knew some of Jamie Blackwood's family that still lived in Scotland. Jamie and Genevieve were excited that Ellie, who had always been very interested in her Scottish heritage, had found someone she loved who was also Scottish. All of Ellie's siblings were very happy for her, though her brothers (all 6 of them, from then 20-year-old Sam to 14-year-olds Adam and Rory, and even the youngest, 11-year-old Rio) did threaten Lindsay that if he ever hurt Ellie, that the consequences wouldn't be pretty.
What *kind* of person your couple is?
Lindsay Graham has shaggy chocolate-brown hair and warm, dark green eyes. He is a strong, silent kind of guy. He tends to lead by example, rather than by voice. He's an accomplished artist who loves pencil sketches and photography in particular. He's kind-hearted, loyal, and has a bit of a romantic side.
Ellie Blackwood-Graham has long, very light brown hair and light blue eyes. She's very intelligent, primarily in the sciences. She's a pediatric surgeon. Ellie is also interested in history and cultures, especially of Scotland. She loves to read. Ellie is sweet, a bit quiet, and sometimes stubborn to a fault. She's dedicated wholeheartedly to her family and her work.
