-Kaly and Sofi (Kalyna and Daryna) are doing great. They have really bonded with our 6 year old daughter Melanie, who is deaf. They have adjusted to living in a large family and love having so many people to play with.
-Ella (Melainie, because we already have a Melanie) is also doing well. She gave birth to a baby boy, whom she named Martin Ivor "Marty". He is a perfectly healthy baby! She is often knitting a family member or friend something, but we usually don't get to utilize them until we visit Europe, because it's so hot here. She also gets lead parts singing in most of her school musicals.
-Mireille and Max are joys. They visit the doctor often and we've hired an in-home nurse, as we know nothing about diabetes. Steven and I are trying to learn everything we can about all our childrens' disabilities though. We had a lot of play ground equipment put on some our our property and many of the kids play for a long time after they do their homework. It was a great idea because they are now staying healthy and not watching as much television.
-Isa (Iseul) is in very bad condition. She is currently hospitalized. We've done everything we possibly can, but she desperatly needs a heart trnasplant. Without one, the doctor estimates only a month. She is at the top of the list though. We visit her everyday and we're hoping for the best! I'll keep you informed on little Isa.

-Isa finally got her heart transplant! She's doing great and recovering like magic. She's about 8 months old and showing signs of getting ready to walk. She's very observant but doesn't like to be around the noisy and rambunctious small kids. She may have to have future surgeries but the doctor said that will be, if ever, sometime years from now. Our family is willing to do anything and everything to help her.
-Ella and Marty are also doing good. Marty is about 2 months old. He is a very noisy baby but a joy to us all. Everyone in the family pitches in with the younger kids so that the teen parents can still focus and get good grades in school. Ella is still getting lead roles in musicals and we recently hired a vocal coach for her [although she doesn't need one]. She wishes to make a career out of it.
