Thank you for blessing our family with four more children. Lakisha is doing well with her pregnancy. We have enrolled both her and Lee in parenting classes and this has significantly helped both of them with their fears of parenthood. Lakisha is due anytime now and we can't wait. On her last check-up, her and Lee decided they wanted to know the gender: it's a boy! They aren't sure of the name yet. Melanie and Phoebe are also bundles of joy. The girls always have someone to play with because we have quite a few children in their age ranges. Phoebe, Laurent, and Leah have seemed to make friends extremely fast. Leah and Laurent are teaching her sign language so they can communicate easier. I was worried about a language barrier but it seems to be going very well. Once again, thank you so much!

Congratulations, Mason and Ryleigh! Here are four beautiful children who can't wait to have you as parents.
Lakisha Faye is a 14 year old, African American girl from New Orleans. She was abandoned by her family when they found out she was pregnant. She likes to sing, and be out of doors. She has severe dyslexia. She is eight months pregnant, very excited about having the baby, and is hoping for a boy.
Lee Thomas is Lakisha's boyfriend, and her baby's dad. He is a 15-year-old, African American boy from New Orleans. His parents were killed in Hurricane Katrina. He enjoys reading and writing songs. He is exited and scared about his son/daughter's birth.
Melanie and Phoebe are rambunctious, 6-year-old Greek twins. They are best friends, and look exactly alike. Melanie is very girly, loves anything pink, and is exited about having a mom. "Pheebe" is blind, and is really exited to have a family. She's currently in love with science.
