This is just a guess, but maybe it's related to the surname Keesee, a variant of Keese, which is a Low German cognate of the English occupational name Cheeseman (someone who makes or sells cheese). "Cheeseman" comes from the Old English "cyse" (cheese) and "mann" (man). Like I said, it's just a guess, but the name seems to have a lot of variations so it's possible "Kiesey" could be one of them.
