Re: what do you think about this nic name
in reply to a message by Gia Nadine
You know, I never really looked at it that way before, but yes. A baby's crib *is* really like a crate! Some studies on canine intelligence have concluded that a dog's intelligence may develop to that of a 2-year-old child, so having a dog is like having a perpetual toddler in the house. That's certainly the case with miniature pinschers, as these little guys are *constantly* getting into mischief, and demanding to be cuddled like babies.
Speaking of my minpins, my latest "foster child" may be going to a new home soon. If you'd like to see a picture of her, go to this website:
www.minpinrescue.org
and either scroll down til you get to Tyra, or do a Control + F search for the name "Tyra". Isn't she a pretty little girl? :)

She is adorable, I love Minpins. My mother has one. Actually My sister and i bought her when she was a pup, and my mother kind of took her. Since my sister and I probably wouldnt give her up to the other my mom was like she is mine...cant argue with your mother! But I still call her my Baby girl when ever I go over there! Her name is Sheba but she answers to "baby girl", "scoopy doo", and "sheba weba". My little sister did the whole scoopy doo thing! LOL I am actually going to try and talk Ryan into getting a minpin when we get a dog! We always have my little Shebuzzers over...oh she answers to that too! LOL

Minpins are wonderful little dogs. You never have the expense of having to take them to a dog groomer, they love to cuddle (coz they're virtually hairless on their bellies and they get cold), and they're super watchdogs. They're smart as little foxes, too. :)
If you're serious about getting a minpin, consider minpin rescue (I.M.P.S.). Here's the link to the Potential Home Questionnaire you can fill out and submit online:

There are some *wonderful* minpins out there just waiting for their "forever home". That home could be yours, Gia. I can tell you have a big heart. :)

But he thought he wasent this bad! Plus he loves dogs more then cats! My mother also has a german shepard that Ryan plays with! He like wrestles with the dog it is so funny!
