Fadha
I know someone named Fadha. She's from Somalia. Does anyone know what the meaning of the name "Fadha" is? And is it also used by Arabs or Arabic speaking regions? My entry

The name Fadha is a Somali name, often linked to meanings like grace, beauty, or light, although interpretations can vary depending on regional dialects or family significance. It is not commonly used in Arabic-speaking regions, though similar-sounding names like Fadwa (meaning "sacrifice" or "redeeming") exist in Arabic. While Fadha isn't widely recognized in Arabic-speaking countries, cultural and linguistic exchanges between Somalia and the Arab world might lead to some overlap, but the name remains distinctively Somali.

This is just a wild guess, but it might have something to do with فِضَّة (fiḍḍa, "silver") or فَضَاء (faḍāʔ, "empty space"). It would be great to know the "official" spelling of Fadha in Arabic to know what's the closest word in Arabic.Link to those words:

I don't know how it's written in Arabic (the listed spellings on the entry are just a guess). I'd guess it's probably closer to فَضَاء (faḍāʔ). The most help I can give is that she says it's pronounced "FAHT-hah".
