Someone told me the Spanish version of Elizabeth is prounounced “Chabela”
Is this accurate!???

It is definitely not *THE* Spanish version of Elizabeth (this is Isabel, or the more modern Isabela), but it a *A* Spanish diminutive of Isabel(a).

Not quite correct. The Spanish form of Elizabeth is Isabel. Isabela is a modern variant, inspired by the English Isabella.

Chabela is a diminutive of Isabel.
