Message: "Elida" - Behind the Name

I cam across the name and I like it. I found it on the website under user-submitted names and I'm curious if it's accurate:

It does make sense. I live in a Scandinavian / German area and it's highly likely she was named after a grandmother.

My Dutch name book lists it as a feminine elaboration of Eli (http://www.behindthename.com/name/eli-1).

Please note that in Dutch Eli is AY-lee and Elida would be ay-LEE-dah:
