Arianwen is a combo of arian, silver, and wen, fair, white, blessed.
So you could say it means "fair silver". One of my favorite names, btw!

I have read a-REE-an-wen, but I don't speak Welsh, so I don't know if it's correct. I would prefer to pr. it a-ree-an-WEN or a-ree-AN-wen, but it might sound crazy to Welsh speakers...
