It surprises me a bit that you say you cannot find this name anywhere. As I checked this name with Google I had the opposite problem: This short letter combination Kina occurs so frequently in so many contexts as name and as normal word that is difficult to find meanings between all this, and as I said there are probably many origins with as many resulting meanings.

Was it pronounce like kee-nah? If so then one possibility is that it's a feminine form of the Irish name Cian (Kean or Kian) which means "ancient" in Gaelic.
It could also be Hawaiian or Indian?
