I have met a really great guy and he has given me a challenge. He has told me his middle name is Japanese and his middle name has to do with "WATER", has 7 letters, starts with R, and ends with E.
Can anyone help me? I have googled everything possible and I want to show him that I have real interest in knowing him!

Thanks for the help. I figuered it out. Ryosuke - it is the correct name but the meaning I found was good help.

Ryosuke or Ryusuke? I can't think of any "water" related meanings for Ryosuke.
And, just to keep in mind, Japanese names can have dozens of different meanings depending on which characters (kanji) are used to write them. There is almost never just one possible meaning, even though an English-language name site may only give one.

The only name I can think of that fits is Rinsuke (林助), but it doesn't have anything to do with water. Although I suppose it does sound a bit like the English word 'rinse'.

Maybe Ryusuke? Ryu 流 means "current" or "flowing." Suke could be 助 "help, assist," or other kanji, but it's really just a suffix that doesn't necessarily add to the meaning of the name.
