Evanthe
Evanthe sure is Greek, and as Miranda said comes from the words "EY"(sounds 'ev' in Greek): well, good, and "ANTHOS": flower. Here is some information about the name, from the book "Thesaurus of Greek names" ISBN 96-7931-65-3:
1. Evanthos (m): an epithet of god Apollon
2. Evanthe (m): mother of the Charites
3. Evanthes (f): son of Oinopion, brother of Talos, also a boxing
Olympic winner.
4. Evanthios (m): father of Maron, friend of Odysseus
5. Evanthia (f): modern

Mum to Hayley Anne. :)
Thankyou. :0)
It's probably Greek, a combination of eu "good, well" and anthos "flower".
