I'm a 26 year old female, born 'Stephanie Dawn' with a douhkobour background. From birth I've been called Dasha which is Russain for Dawn and always have wondered the particular meaning of Dasha. Also and not that it's that relevant, but I'm a textbook Gemini.

Hi, my name is Dasha and I'm always looking for an explanation.. I've always been told it's Russian, one person told me for little girls.. My mother told me 'Gift of God'... After looking some more, it supposedly translates to 'Dorothea' in English which in Greek does mean 'Gift from God'.
