Annelise is not a particularly German name - at least it is very common here in Denmark. Most women named Annelise (or Anne-Lise or Anne Lise) are born between 1930 and 1950. Anne is a (for that period of time) quite popular form of "Anna" (the latter is coming up strongly nowadays)the name was mostly given to women born 1950-1990. Lise is a diminutiv of Elisabeth (turning into Lisbeth/Lisbet, then into Lisa, Lise and Lis).In Holland you find Annelies as a variant.
Annalise is a danish variant too, though a lot less common than Annelise.
