Re: ages
Your name, in all probability, is just a variant spelling of Anastasia, meaning "resurrection" in Greek. It's a feminine form of Anastasius. However, your parents may have wanted to blend Anastasia with Anna. Anna is the Latinate form of Hannah, which in turn is from the Hebrew name Channah, meaning "favour" or "grace".Miranda

OK, here's the scoopIf you really want a meaning for Annastasia, then it would heve to be Anna (as Miranda correctly noted) plus the Greek verb "histamai" (*) meaning "to stand, to rise". Hence your name could mean "the grace of God stands" in Hebrew-Hellenic pidgin.(*) Anastasia is from the Greek, "ana-" (to repeat) and "histamai".

And....Stasia (STA-sha) is the Polish short form of the name Stanislawa (The L should have a line though it)
