Death as a name.
Sir Peter Death Bredon Wimsey is Dorothy L. Sayer's detective in her novels. He's the son of Duke, and the names are all family names. However, Wimsey is probably NOT an actual name either.Does anyone have any knowledge of Death (pronunced deeth)?Siri

I'm familiar with Death, or (more politely) De'Ath, as a surname. Which means that it can be used as a given name if anyone wishes. Sounds a bit Addams Family to me ... Morticia's long-lost cousin, perhaps ... but maybe I'm old-fashioned.

At first I though u meant Death as in dying. I was gonna say are u crazy! But Death(deeth) sounds much better. I kind of like it spelled Deith or Deeth. What do u think about these spellings?
