Meaning of Zulema (feminine) or Zuleman (masculine)
I have been "told" the following:
Name in the arabic language, means Solomon. The name is recognized in the Muslim religion.
I was recently told that the name means "Queen"; no info to confirm meaning
Information I have found:
-Past president of Argentina (late 1980's, early 1990's ?)- his wife was named Zulema & she was muslim.
-King Zuleman, was a 6th century, middle eastern king; books on him in the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas

My friend by the name of Hannah told me that Zulema is Arabic and that it means being peaceful and calm!!!!!!
You are right, Zuleman is likely an Arabic spelling of Solomon, which means "peace" in Hebrew. The more common Arabic form is Suleyman or Suleiman (with accents somewhere, but I can't remember where). This was the name of an Ottoman sultan who expanded his empire all the way up into Hungary in the 16th century.
As far as Zulema goes I am not sure. But it could very well be a feminine form, perhaps a modern one.

According to a Turkish friend I asked, Suleyman is accented in the last syllable.
