The Name Lynsey

When i searched my name Lynsey it said it was english when in fact it is the gaelic spelling! Gaelic being scotish!

The Gaelic spelling is Lindsay- I know because Lindsay-Crawford is the scottish clan that my ancestors were from. Lynsey is a form of Lindsay, as are Lindzey, Lyndsey, Linzee, Lyndsay, Lynsay, etc.

My name is Lynsey.My Dad wan't to name me this but spelled a common way.My Mom said she would name me Lynsey but only if she could spell it the way it is.I have been told it is Scotish.Could you give some information on the name?Please e-mail me for I might not visit this website again.My em.is weirdlynz@hotmail.com
