Wow! Good job.
I once read either an article about the rapper Tupac Shakur where they claimed his name means "a snake"

Tupac
I know, when I first read about this name I instantly thought about Tupac Shakur, I had no idea what it meant and I thought it was an African name in origin...
Does anyone know anything else about this name?

Magia, the above site mentions he was named after Named after Tupac Amaru, the Inca Indian that was sentenced to death by Spaniards. It also mentions that Tupac Amaru, in the Inca Indian language, means "shining serpent".
Take Care.

Ignore the response to myself, from above... :o/
Anastasia,
That makes lots of sense since, according to my resource Amaru in Quechua means Snake and Tupac in Quechua as well, means "brilliant" or "shiny" if you will...(Quechua is Inca's language. The Incas are from Peru)
Thanks for the info,
~Magia~
