For a blue budgie?
My new blue budgie is a handsome fellow.
The last one flew away, so I like Adrastos (not inclined to run away, apparently). Other names I've been thinking about for him are Patroclus, Phoebus, Phrixus and Caelestis. We have already had a budgie named Celeste, though. The New Budgie's mate's name is Maud and their other cage mates are Gilderoy and Mabel. Opinions? Ideas?
Thank you, Delia.

I gotta ask...
why are red-haired Australians nicknamed Blue?

Or is like calling the fat man "Skinny"?
My guess is your guess!
Australia is a mystery to me - I've never been there - but I've always thought that the surname books were wrong - you know, the ones that say that the first Mr Nightingale had a marvellous singing voice and the first Mr Short was short. My belief is that the first Mr Nightingale was tone-deaf and the first Mr Short was probably six foot six. Like Little John in the Robin Hood stories!
