hi...can i name my baby TED instead of edward or theodore? is it gonna be odd? people might think his full name is edward or theodore?

I think you're answering your own questions. Why not name him Edward or Theodore and just call him Ted? When he's the CEO of a billion dollar company he might prefer a more formal name. :-)
