i see you dont have Boer or Afrikaans names, well im from south africa nad would very much like to know what my ancesters names meant, but they were all Boer, so i cant find it. im sure u can find out a lil bout Boer names, they are really interesting, trust me.

I replied to your 4th posting (above) before I read this one, so I wasn't sure of your South African origin. My "country hicks" remark was reading "boere" in the Dutch-language context of "farmer"; didn't mean to imply that all S.A. Boers are "country hicks". : )
The people I mentioned in that reply (Anneza and Lu) are both South Africans, so they'd be the right ones around here to comment on the names you posted.
