I think
Could Monia be a form of Monica just like Mona is?
I myself would think so.MONICA (f) Either "advisor" (Latin) or "alone" (Greek) or possibly an ancient African or Phoenician name. Saint Monica was the mother of Saint Augustine .Patterson is easier however since it definatly means:
Son of Patter. Yet, it is a surname used by both men and women.

I'm trying to confirm , but i believe that your name is from tha same root of "monica" from the greek "monos", that means, lonly, widow. But remember the maning don't means anithing. Your caracter is what will bild your self. God Bless you.
