What does "so" mean at the end of a name?

Hi my name is Scott, and sometimes my boss calls me Scottso. One of me previous bosses did this as well, however I am not sure what it means. Can anyone provide me with a little information. Thanks!

Maybe your bosses are trying to be funny by putting the "so" suffix at the end of your name which is more commonly seen in the slang expression: "fatso".

I dunno if you're overweight but, if you are, then that might be the significance of "Scottso". Just a guess.

Nope, Im not fat. I think it is an italian nickname. I was hoping for a little more insight than if you are fat. but thanks anyway.
