Thanks so much! I almost forgotten that I had posted on this message board. A little background I am black and my mother knew someone with my name, i'm pretty sure she was also black, and she was living in Mobile Alabama at the time. Someone wanted to know the origin of my last name, Gissentanna, and it is the german Giesendanner. thanks again for any help!
