"amor" is Spanish for "love" ("amo" means "I love") and "ita" is used as a diminutive, so "Amorita" is "small love" or "little love".
so...in answer to your biggest question, I would say Amorita is probably adapted from Spain or another Spanish-speaking country in Central or South America.
