You probably got the name from the actress Samaire Armstrong. Well, the name is made-up by the parents, i.e. a creative spelling by the parents. There's an Arabic name Samaira, a variant of
Samira, which is the female form of
Samir (follow the hyperlink). Also, i read that Samaire Armstrong was born in Japan, so i looked if the parents could have made the name using Japanese words, but the name would that mean something like 'honoured can' (using sama-ira) or 'honoured smooth' (using sama-hira). When you use sama-ire, i don;t know what it would mean, but
ire is used in Japanese verbs as an ending, but there's no verb like
samairu .
Samaira is also a misspelling of Samaria, the biblical place.
