I would like to know this as well! I've been using namae-yurai.net to gage trends, but it only lists names popular to the site users, and only up to 100. It seems to closely match the general population trends, but still. If you find one I'd be happy to try and transcribe it!

Thank you for the kind offer Higuma! While it's not related to transcription, I do have a question for you though. Is Ame an established and common name in Japan?

I think it's seen some usage but it's not very common. I don't think it would raise eyebrows but it's a little rare. That's my impression at least.
