Thank you very much for your input - we always appreciate hearing helpful suggestions from our visitors!
With that said, we fully understand your reasoning. However, namesakes are typically only mentioned in a name's description when they are very significant historically, culturally, etc. Most television characters don't meet those criteria, so they are not included in name descriptions. Instead, relatively minor namesakes like these can be found in the "Namesakes" tab of a name entry. The "Namesakes" tabs are still very much a work in progress, but I have taken the liberty of including Mr. Rumbold and Mr. Humphries in them. You can now view them here:

In the future, we hope to make the "Namesakes" tabs more exhaustive. But in the meantime, I hope you are pleased to see these characters of your favourite sitcom in the "Namesakes" tabs.
