the names Makhi, Mekhi
in reply to a message by Makhi
I gave it a shot. My best guess after looking pretty hard is that it is a modern American creation without meaning, except for the one who made it perhaps.I did find similar names, that may have inspired it or be related to it somehow, can't say. Maybe following up one of these can lead you to a better clue. Good luck.Micaiah - (Hebrew) form of Micah (spoken aloud w/out the last
syllable "-ah" sounds like Mekhi)
Macaio - (Hawaiian) form of Michael (ditto aloud)
Mekhail - (Greek, Russian) form of Michael
Micah - (Hebrew) form of Michael
Meka - (Hawaiian) eyes
Makyah - (Hopi) eagle hunter
Mahkah - (Lakota) earth
McKay -(Scottish) son of Kay
Maco - (Hungarian) form of Emmanuel
Makin - (Arabic) strong
Maicu - (Quechua) eagle
Maiqui - (Quechua) tree
Mahi'ai - (Hawaiian) form of George
Maake - (Polynesian) warrior
Malik - (Punjab) lord, master; (Arabic) form of Malachi
Malachi - (Hebrew) angel of God
Melchior - (Hebrew) king
Melquiades - (Hebrew) Yahweh is my God
Mordecai - (Hebrew) martial, warlike
