Please read both "e"s as in bed, leg, men.

Please read both "a"s as the final "a" in Anna.

Please read the "i" as the "ea" in "reading", "reader". The "i" should be stressed.

I think I follow your explanation of the pronunciation, but let me see if I have it right. It should be ehk a tehr EE na - is that right? It is not like Katerina, which has the emphasis on the first syllable? Thanks
