Re: is there anybody called AGATA or similar?
In ancient Greece, AGATA or AGATHA (a-GA-tha) was the Doric dialect form of the feminine name AGATHE (a-ga-THEE), from the word "AGATHOS" (a-ga-THOS), meaning "good, virtuous, honest, decent, kindly".
The name AGATHE in Greek mythology was an epithet of goddess of luck, Tyche, (TYXH) and also an epithet of goddess of hope, ELPIS.
