What ticks me off is that tons of people submit names without any information. (There's a lot of joke names in there, too). Sure, sources would be great, but don't go crazy if you have to go looking for stuff.
I don't think there's any procedure or anything, I just like to put a little note or a thank you to anyone who's helped me out (I'll do this for anything on the Internet). Since I didn't have any information until you responded, I don't think it'd be fair to take all the credit for submitting the name. :)

Ok, my sources are mainly Italian books (in Italy the name Flaminio/a is still used). The most autoritative ones are:
