How do you pronounce Alaiza? at a first glance it looks similiar at Eliza -f- hebrew, form of elizabeth, Oath of God/God is satisfied
This might be up for questioning but this is my view on it ^.^, I tried a search for Alaiza but nothing useful appeared...only the last names ^.^ sorry

I've found a website saying that Aloaiza Pashkevich was also spelled Aloiza Pashkevich. So Alaiza could be like Aloise, Alois, Eloise, Heloise...
Alaiza also seems to be a place in Spain. Does your family have Spanish origins?
I've also found that "iza" means victory in Arabic, so Alaiza could be "God's victory"...
