LOL, no I'm a real girl with the 34DD's to prove it ;o) 36, live in England, mother of 4 of my own, 3 stepsons and one on the way in December.
My grandmother Sowards was original from Devonshire - her family immigrated from Exeter. It is Devon Elizabeth (Elisa's from a nn Hispanic friends pinned on me because they found Devon not femme enough) My sister got the equally unusual Kersey (Victoria) from our other gran's maiden name. Causes lots of confusion ;o)

Hi Devon,
I wanted to ask you before, and now that you've told us a bit about yourself is a good opportunity: how do you know so much about names, languages and etymology? are you a linguist or something similar? Just wondering... I hope it's not too private, and you don't have to answer if it is!

Geek mostly ;o) LOL
I was interested in names, words and languages from a young age. My mother's an English teacher, part of the family is French, I was born in Albuquerque and so was encouraged to learn other tongues. I dated and married internationally which just exposed me to more languages (and led my mother to despair 'Can't you just date 1 normal AMERICAN boy!' LOL) and was taught a great set of research skills so what I don't know I can usually find. Let all that stew for 25 years or so and you get me. I hate the term but 'expert' is just interest + effort, nothing more special than that.
Devon (forgive any type-o's - I had surgery Friday and have a patch over my left eye so must turn my head to see the whole screen which is NOT working so well!)
