My neighbour introduced himself as Gregory but he was in fact Gzegorz. It's pronounced something like g-j-egg-or-j where the g sound is hard, as in 'get', and the j sound is like the ge in 'ledge'. The start of the name takes a while to get the hang of. When you get used to it, run all the parts together.

It's Gzhe-gozh (first syllable stress).
Nickname(pet): Grzes - Gzhesh (a very soft sh), also Grzesiek (more formal)- Gzhe-shyek (again the sh)
