I believe there is a Persian female name Mishka, maybe this could be a variant? In my information I have the meaning listed as "bird" but I didn't write the source down so that could very well be wrong.

Michka is orginaly a Hyrcanian(a kind of persian langauges) word and is a little bird's name.but its michka not mishka nor mishika
