seeing as there wasn't any responses to this... I'll try my best
Given my "extremely" limited knowledge of Mandarin... I would say that it is probably Ah-Ling... my reasons:
1. similar names - in order to say "Little Wong" -- the name is Xiao Wong
2. Have read some Chinese books for class that actually had a character made Ah-Ling in it...
Hope this helps... but it is for something very important, I would seek someone with much more knowledge than me...
